For the second year running, this beautiful holiday park will be the site for the Feast of Tabernacles in Britain. It is set in 100 acres (40 hectares) of delightful landscaped parkland — the perfect setting to enjoy the Feast and explore the rural surroundings.

Shorefield Country Park is near the coast at Milford on Sea in Hampshire and just 3 miles (5 km) from New Forest National Park, home to free-roaming ponies and deer. Nearby towns include Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth. London is two hours away.

London is two hours away by train direct from Waterloo to Bournemouth, or with one change from Paddington — change at Reading. The nearest train station is New Milton which is 3 miles (5 km) away.

**Buffet meals were very popular in 2012. Approximate cost was £12 per adult and £9 per child 5-12 yrs.

 

To cover the hire of the meeting hall, we are requesting a donation of £20 ($32) per adult when you book your accommodation. Please state that the money is to go towards the "COGWA meeting hall fund". 

 

Refreshments:

The lodges each have a pleasant lounge and cooking facilities, but if you don't feel like cooking, you will be able to book meals at one of the two venues in the Admin block, the Bistro or Cheers Bar and Restaurant. There is also a restaurant down the lane 10 minutes walk away, or restaurants in Milford-on-Sea a five minute taxi drive away.

Among the potential trips are visits to: Stonehenge, Portsmouth (HMS Victory), Jane Austen’s home, Winchester and the Beaulieu Car Museum.

Preferred Accommodation

Book by 31st March to secure a lovely wooden lodge close to the hall. Each lodge has a pleasant lounge and cooking facilities for special Feast fellowship. 

Our bookings are for eleven nights, Monday 16th to Thursday 26th September. All payment is done directly with Shorefield Park by email (holidays@shorefield.co.uk) or by phone, quoting COGWA group booking number "249343": Full details of how to book are mentioned below.

 

Five minutes’ walk:

Close-by is the meeting hall, free gym and heated indoor family swimming pool, sauna and steam room, free Wi-Fi next to the hall, discounted spa for men and women. There are also a fishing lake, heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, children's outdoor play area, and the seaside.

  1. That you are booking with the COGWA group, discount reference "249343" (this gives you the 10% discount),
  2.  Which lodge you would like (number of bedrooms/beds) or any special needs or requests,
  3. The names, address, phone number of those who will be staying in the lodge, and children's ages,
  4. Inform the staff if you wish to take out the cancellation insurance mentioned in the lodge prices below.

Shorefield staff will return your email with a quote, and confirm the bank account to transfer the initial deposit (and cancellation insurance, if you requested it). Payment will be possible by credit card to a link provided by the Reservations staff in the email.

If you are able to help with a donation of £20 ($32) per adult towards the cost of hiring the hall, please include it with your payment to Shorefield. Then email Shorefield (copy to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) with the breakdown of your accommodation/hall donation payment.
